Dr. Mrs. Victoria Asabe Undeshi (KSJI) is a seasoned nurse, educator, and administrator with an outstanding career spanning over four decades in nursing education, clinical practice, public health, and academic leadership. She currently serves as the Provost of the College of Nursing Sciences, Obudu, where she provides visionary leadership, academic oversight, and strategic direction in building a strong foundation for quality nursing and midwifery education in Cross River State.
Academic Excellence
Dr. Undeshi holds a Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Maternal and Child Health (2019), a Master’s Degree in Health Management (2009), and a Master’s in Public Administration (2002). Her academic background is firmly grounded in Nursing Education with a BSc obtained in 1994. She also holds professional certifications as a Registered Nurse (1981) and Registered Midwife (1978), in addition to a Diploma in Midwifery Education.

Campaigns Against Female Genital Mutilation and Sexual Abuse
Cervical Cancer Prevention and Treatment Initiatives using VIA and Cryotherapy across Cross River, parts of Benue State, and the Republic of Cameroon
Academic Contributions and Publications
She has authored and supervised multiple research projects and academic theses focusing on maternal health, health policy, youth development, and treatment outcomes for vesicovaginal fistula (VVF). Her publications include works on education policy, civil service accountability, and first aid in environmental safety.
