Mr. Nfawa Emmanuel Ibiang is a seasoned science educator and academic professional, currently serving as Lecturer II at the College of Nursing Sciences, Obudu. With a strong background in Chemistry, Biostatistics, and Biochemistry, he is committed to delivering quality education and fostering academic excellence among students.
He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) in Science Education from the Federal College of Education, Obudu, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at Ebonyi State University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calabar in 2015 and a Diploma in Computer Science from Tivhans Computer Institute in 2009.
Mr. Ibiang's teaching experience spans over a decade, with roles in various reputable institutions such as Cambridge Secondary School, Community Comprehensive Secondary School, and Nico Secondary School, where he served as Head of Sciences. In these roles, he taught core science subjects including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, demonstrating a passion for student success and scientific literacy.
Beyond the classroom, Mr. Ibiang is deeply involved in community service. He has led medical outreach programs that offer free medical treatment to the less privileged, earning him an Award of Excellence in recognition of his humanitarian efforts.
He is skilled in ICT, electrical work, and driving, with additional industrial experience from the Cross River State Water Board Agency and ConsolerStreams Ventures. Mr. Ibiang is known for his teamwork, ability to multitask, and capacity to work effectively under pressure.
Fluent in English, Lokaa, Ibo, and Tiv, Mr. Ibiang is a native of Cross River State. His personal interests include teaching, research, administration, reading, writing, and singing.
